Taco John’s needed ads that their franchisees could run any time sales were dipping down. Promotions they could pull off the shelf any time to get people through the doors.

We wanted people to drool—over the food and the great prices.

But food porn wasn’t enough for us. Not when you have something that’s as much fun as tacos. So in spite of all these spots being :15 seconds long, we covered off on the food porn. Then we got weird with it. Like “what sound would a taco shell make if it were a conch shell?” weird.

And we wrapped up each spot with a mnemonic device of our own creation to represent the joy of eating tacos with the sweet, sweet sound of saving cash. Crunch-ching! This sound accompanies the name of our best deals: Craver Savers. Any time you see those two things together, you know you’re getting a delectable deal.

Food porn + conceptual :15s + mnemonic device = a pretty tasty campaign.
